Level One:


Ages: 7-9 (grades 2-3)

Level Three:


Ages: 11-14 (grades 6-8)

Level Four:


Ages: 14-18 (grades 9-12)

We strongly recommend that Level Two, Three, and Four company dancers take at least one of the following additional classes outside of their Leveled Modern class.  TO REGISTER
 

Ballet (from a body-positive, somatic perspective)


Ages: 7-11
TUESDAY 5:00-6:00 P.M. - AGES: 7-11
MONDAY 5:30-6:30 P.M. - AGES: 12-18
Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination will be taught with an emphasis on body-positive awareness to skill building, flexibility and coordination. Students will be introduced to spatial awareness, musicality, steps, and alignment particular to performing ballet technique.
 

World Dance


Ages: 11-18
WEDNESDAY 6:30-7:30 P.M.
Instruction in Haitian, West African, Contemporary Indian Dance. The class will rotate instruction and be taught by Djenane Saint Juste of Afoutayi Dance, Whitney McClusky of Duniya Drum & Dance, and Kealoha Ferreira of Ananya Dance Theater.
 

All Abilities Dancing Two


Ages: 11 and Older
THURSDAY 5:00-6:30 P.M.
Participants develop skilss of improvisation, partnering, and choreography with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and performance.
 

Contemporary Technique Studies


Ages: 11-18
SATURDAY 10:00-11:15 A.M.
This class focuses on the comprehensive instruction of Contemporary Ballet and Modern Dance technique: Alignment, Momentum, Shape, and Breath. An in-depth exploration of floor work and locomotive phrases will be explored, as well as, technique and skill building.
 

Choreography


Ages: 7 - 18
TUESDAY 7:00-8:00 P.M.
SATURDAY 2:00-3:00 P.M.
This class will introduce students to both the exploration of the choreographic process and the basic tools used in choreography. Students will learn dance-making through improvisation, activities, and discussion.
 

Hip Hop


Ages: 7 - 18
MONDAY 6:30-7:30 P.M.
This class will introduce students to both the exploration of the choreographic process and the basic tools used in choreography. Students will learn dance-making through improvisation, activities, and discussion.
 

Enrollment Documents

Company enrollment documents consist of: 

1.) Filling out the Online Enrollment form - specific to company members.

2.) Reading through the enrollment packet conaining important details about the season and calendar.

3.) Understanding the tuition schedule and deciding on a tuition payment arrangement. .

Company Tuition

Tuition includes both class and rehearsal, and is priced for the year, September-May. Tuitiion is calculated based on a 30 week season, and hourly participation per week. 
 
Level One: $948
Level Two: $1149
Level Three and Level Four: $1347
Additional Classes (Ballet, All Abilities Dancing, World Dance, Contemporary Technique Studies, Hip Hop, Choreography):
Company rate for 1 additional class per week: $350 ($12/ hr.) 
Company rate per class for 2 additional classes per week: $325 ($11/hr.)
Company rate per class for 3 additional classes per week: $300 ($10/hr.)
Company rate per class for 4 additional classes per week: $275 ($9/hr.) 
Company rate per class for 5 additional classes per week: $250 ($8/ hr.)
Company rate per class for 6 additional classes per week: 6th class is free

Tuition balances can be divided into three payments, and are due: September 15th, December 15th, and March 15th

  • Tuition Balances are due by March 15th, 2020. A fee of 5% of the remaining balance will be added to any account that is not paid in full by March 15, 2019
